BRR drummer week rolls on with Buddy Rich. The son of two Jewish Vaudevillians, Buddy was one fast son-of-a-gun behind the kit. He never moved beyond big band style and at the end of his career he was playing high school gyms and bullying band members with ridiculous tirades, but he also influenced John Bonham and Neil Peart. Gene Krupa called him the best of all time too. A One dimensional monster but a monster nonetheless.
