Eric Marlon Bishop, born almost 50 years ago in segregated Terrell, Texas, is perhaps the most successful hybrid entertainer in America today. He’s a hilarious stand up comic, a singer with Grammy awards who excels in both country music and hip hop, an Academy Award winning actor (who was also nominated for a different movie the year he won the award), a successful star of an eponymously named television program, a radio host and probably some other entertainment pursuits we can’t even name. The only question remaining is: who’s talented enough to play him in his biopic? The Brown Brothers salute you Eric, whom is better known by his stage name, Jamie Foxx.
