Happy Thursday everyone. Today we’re starting our day with music of course and today’s selection is Liz Phair. Known as a mid-90s potty mouth, Liz was actually an innovator in that she was untethered to gender roles in her lyrics. She didn’t look at her songs as rule-breaking, just without fealty to traditional women’s lyrics. Exile in Guyville and Whipsmart are landmarks and landmarks deserve attention. Today attention will be paid at BBR world HQ. Apropos of nothing, aren’t the flowers in the pic above great? Looks like human faces on them, right ?
